Requirements

Candidates must have experience in business analysis within large government technology programs and proficiency in requirements traceability. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of regulatory or registry domains and IIBA certification.

Full description

Purpose: work with product managers, designers, engineers and stakeholders to elaborate the program's deliverables. ASIC may need several levels, up to practice leadership.

Seniority: Mid, senior or practice lead.

Reports to: Product Manager, within Product and Business Engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit requirements from business and technical

stakeholders.

  • Trace requirements to legislation, policy decisions and

legacy business rules; flag legislative assumptions for ASIC approval.

  • Model processes, specify business rules and write

acceptance criteria.

  • At practice lead level, set templates, peer review and

run a business analysis community of practice.

Essential: business analysis on large government technology programs; requirements traceability.

Desirable: regulatory or registry domain (company registration, lodgements, professional registers); reverse engineering legacy business logic; IIBA certification.
