Job Description:
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead on all internal and external audits with accurate documentation promptly
- Preparation of management accounts, forecasts, and associated reporting into Onestream
- Prepare month-end closing; handling accruals, prepayments, deferred Income, Fixed Assets, Foreign exchange, and Journal entries
- Monthly ad hoc reporting to Omnicom HQ
- Maintain Sarbanes Oxley policies & controls around GL
- Prepare monthly revenue by client statements & conduct variance analysis with the Client Finance Lead
- Lead on all internal and external audits with accurate documentation promptly
- Submit monthly credit insurance reporting and Cash Flow forecasting
- Collaborate in developing & implementing accounting policies
- Responsibility for intercompany reportings
- Assist in identifying trends and areas for process improvement to ensure best practices
- Co-operate and communicate with local and regional media and finance teams
- Develop a relationship with Omnicom HQ personnel
- Ability to step in and cover other accounting tasks when required
- Support the Finance Director and CFO on various work streams and ad-hoc projects
- Be a backup to our Accounts Receivable Billing team members
- Ability to step in and cover other accounting tasks when required
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, AICPA/CGMA, or similar preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX & experience with financial reporting
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience, preferably from a media or marketing agency background
- Strong Excel skills are a must
- Confident yet diplomatic communicator
- Attention to detail and technical skills are essential; a strong understanding of double-entry is a must
- Prior exposure to Dynamics365 and Media Ocean preferred
- Proactive with “can do” attitude, a problem solver and self-motivated, who is prepared to challenge and create new processes when needed
- Able to multitask with minimal guidance and work under tight schedules
- Extreme attention to detail and highly organized
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be tech-savvy
$75,000-$100,000
