Within Capital Markets, we work with investment banks, asset and wealth managers, exchanges, clearing houses, custodians and market infrastructure firms to address their most critical business and technology priorities. This role is focused on Capital Markets Data, AI and Transformation, covering data management, analytics, data products, data governance, data quality management, reconciliations, regulatory change, and AI-enabled operating model transformation.

Principal Domain and Expertise

The suitable candidate should be able to consult with clients across Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Asset Management, Wealth Management and Market Infrastructure functions, with strong emphasis on data-led reinvention and AI-enabled transformation.

TLM/Recon Primary Key Skills:

  • Experience in TLM (Transaction Lifecycle Management)

Role Summary

The candidate will work with Accenture’s Global Network Capital Markets practice to deliver consulting and transformation engagements for global financial services clients. The role requires a strong combination of Capital Markets domain knowledge, consulting skills, business analysis capability, data transformation understanding and AI-enabled reinvention mindset.

The candidate will help clients assess current-state processes, data flows, systems and controls; define target-state operating models; design data and analytics solutions; support business requirements; and drive execution across large-scale transformation programs.

  • Define and support enterprise and domain data strategies for Capital Markets clients.

  • Work with data scientists, engineers and technology teams to enable predictive, diagnostic and AI-enabled insights.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI, generative AI and agentic AI for break investigation, root-cause analysis, controls testing, issue triage, reporting automation and decision support.

3. Data Products

  • Support design and delivery of domain-aligned data products for Capital Markets use cases.
  • Help define data product scope, consumers, source systems, business rules, data contracts, metadata, service levels and control requirements.
  • Drive adoption of reusable data products across reporting, regulatory, risk, operations, analytics and AI use cases.
  • Work with product owners, data owners, stewards, technology teams and business stakeholders to manage data product backlogs and roadmaps.

4. Data Governance

  • Define or support data governance frameworks, roles, responsibilities, RACI, policies and standards.
  • Support data ownership, stewardship, metadata management, lineage, data cataloging and data controls.
  • Help establish governance forums, issue management processes, escalation paths and decision rights.
  • Ensure data governance aligns with business, regulatory, risk, privacy and compliance expectations.
  • Support AI-ready governance, including responsible data use, model input controls, lineage, explainability and traceability. 5. Data Quality Management

  • Define and implement data quality rules, scorecards, dashboards and controls.
  • Assess data quality across dimensions such as completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency, validity, uniqueness and integrity.
  • Support data profiling, root-cause analysis, remediation planning and data quality issue management.
  • Establish data quality operating models across business, operations, technology and control teams.
  • Support data observability and proactive monitoring for critical data elements.

6. Reconciliations and Controls

  • Support trade, cash, position, holdings, securities, nostro, custody, P&L, fees, commissions and regulatory reconciliations.
  • Analyze breaks, exceptions and unmatched items across systems, ledgers, custodians, market infrastructures and external data sources.
  • Define reconciliation logic, matching rules, tolerances, exception workflows and control dashboards.
  • Drive simplification and automation of reconciliation processes using workflow, analytics, AI and intelligent automation.
  • Support target operating model design for exception management, control ownership, SLA management and regulatory evidence.

Technical Know-How – Good to Have

Candidates are not expected to be deep technologists but should have working knowledge of data platforms, feeds, tools and industry data flows relevant to Capital Markets.

  • Prior experience in consulting or transformation projects is required.
