Full description

Company Description

Nagorik is a product and service development company based in Bangladesh. We build digital products in areas like VPN, wallets, edtech, and AI.

With a team of 125 skilled employees, we have served 200+ clients worldwide over the past five years. We work with mobile financial services, telecom companies, enterprises, and startups. Around 3.7M+ people actively use our products or services every month.

Our mission is to grow our product portfolio and help businesses around the world succeed by creating powerful, easy-to-use digital products that improve operations, enhance user experience, and support sustainable growth.

Alongside our product work, our sister studio Blockbuster brings the same craft to games — building original titles across puzzles, roguelikes, word games, and casual genres, plus web and mobile games for partners including national media, fintech companies, and major brands.

Job Description

This role is for someone who makes games because they cannot help it — someone with a folder of half-finished prototypes, who has rage-quit a game and then spent an hour working out exactly which frame of the input buffer was lying to them, who has opened a devtools console on somebody else's browser game just to see how they did it, who cannot leave a mechanic alone when it feels wrong, and who has at least one thing they made that a stranger has played.

We are not looking for a programmer who is willing to work on games. We are looking for a gamer who knows how to make games.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build complete web games end-to-end — gameplay, tutorial, polish, device QA.
  • Own features on our live Unity mobile games: retention, progression, live-ops.
  • Take a design spec, build it, then tell us what is wrong with it after you have played it.
  • Take full ownership of one product within your first six months.

Qualifications

Must have:

  • C# and Unity — you have built and run something real, not just followed a tutorial.
  • JavaScript or TypeScript — our client games are web-based. You will be writing this daily.
  • Git — branches, merges, not just commit-to-main.
  • Finished projects. A jam entry, an itch.io page, an APK, a prototype you polished or simply a playable demo of a game you made.
  • Performance sense on mobile — you know what a draw call is and why frame budget matters.
  • Fluent written English. Some of our work is client-facing.

Big plus:

  • A second engine — Godot, Unreal, Phaser, anything
  • VR / AR / XR work of any kind, Unity or web-based. We expect XR projects soon.
  • Flutter or React — client projects sometimes need the app around the game, not just the game
  • Backend basics — Node, Firebase, REST APIs, a database you have actually queried. Leaderboards, saves, and score submission all have to live somewhere.
  • Shaders, VFX, or a good eye for game feel
  • Firebase, analytics, or live-ops experience
  • You use AI tools well and still read every line before it ships

Additional Information

What you will get from us

  • A competitive salary according to your experience (Range: BDT 30k ~ 50k/month)
  • Two days weekly leave
  • Two festival bonuses
  • Yearly increment based on the performance
  • Health Insurance and Wellness Programs
  • Complimentary Breakfast, Lunch, and Evening Snacks
  • Flexible working hours
  • You will be joining a fast-moving and progressive company that prides itself of being at the forefront of software development and security services
  • A real chance to grow very rapidly - the team is growing which means that there's plenty of room for personal development
  • The possibility to really see an impact and to see how your work affects the end result. Your name on published, live titles — not internal tools nobody plays

Additional Requirement:

  • A link to something playable. itch.io, APK, web build, video of it running. This is not optional — applications without one are not read.
  • Your CV.
  • Three sentences: the last game you played that annoyed you, and how you would fix it.

Shortlisted candidates do a paid one-day trial task (BDT 5,000) building a small mechanic in our actual stack. We pay for your time either way.
