Job Description
A Customer Project Manager drives, leads and manages a customer project for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems with J-OEM within the specified time, budget and quality framework to the satisfaction of the customers, ensuring economic success for Aumovio and profitability of the product over lifetime. You will manage customer projects with international team members worldwide and acts as an entrepreneur for the project.
You will have the full control of the approved project budget, target sales, numbers of involved functions/ team members regarding capacity usage or external spending in alignment with existing policies/procedures.
Qualifications
- Project Management Skills• Project status report (budget/schedule/quality/development status)
- Project scheduling, management, forecasting and realignment
- Respond to changes, build escalation paths
- On-time delivery for customer milestones
- Risk management (mitigation and prevention of recurrence of past cases)
- Efficient customer communication
- Fluency in both English and Japanese (speaking, reading and writing)
- Ability to negotiate to convince each other and reach a conclusion even in conflicting relationships
- Ability to build teamwork with global and multinational development members
- Ability to think positively about problem solving
- Technical background in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems preferable
- At least 3 years of technical product development or project management experience in automotive electronic components or consumer electronics
