Job Summary:
The Associate Product Manager position will be develop product roadmaps to promote to internal team and customers. In addition, this position is a core member of Motherboard Product Management team and engages in technical, product development, marketing, and pre/post-sales support activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
- Develop relationship with customer and promote the right product and work with sale/FAE to close the deal
- Execute in-depth research about customer applications and provide feedback to engineering teams on how to optimize products
- Work with relate team to promote products to internal team and customers
- Create positioning statements, marketing and sales training materials, product specifications
- Present training materials to internal sales force as well as externally
- Travel periodically to visit customers and attend trade shows
- Conduct competitive analysis and develop ecosystem with partners in the industry
- Drive technical issues to closure by arranging resources and engaging with other engineering teams to duplicate and debug
- Serve as third level technical support and provide pre/post-sales
Qualifications:
- BS degree in engineering discipline or business is highly preferable
- 1+ years of IT relate experience preferred
- Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment
- Effective organization and planning skills
- Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional organizations
- Creative thinker, to develop new strategies and solutions
- Ability to lead extended teams and meet deadlines
- Understanding of market trends and customer needs
- Strong analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills
- Solid communications skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Salary Range
$95,000 - $115,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
