The Role

The Ecommerce Product Analyst is a member of the IT Development Team and supports the data, insights, and optimization of the commerce platform enabling the websites, mobile applications, and all integrations. Primary responsibilities will be focused on analyzing performance, evaluating system capabilities to ensure SOFG is leveraging the platform, driving innovation across web and app channels, and ensuring the overall user experience is aligned and integrated with the IT and business strategy and requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analyzing, defining, and documenting Ecommerce and mobile application capabilities in alignment with business partners and IT strategies.
  • Responsible for gathering detailed business requirements and mapping end-to-end business processes to solution capabilities across COEs and coordinating with peer Product Owners when needed.
  • Maintains a capability catalog and performance data for the Ecommerce and Mobile Technology Capability Group.
  • Supports execution against the IT, Ecommerce, and Mobile Roadmap aligned to business objectives and IT strategies by providing data-driven prioritization insights.
  • Proactively communicates data insights, performance metrics, and technical requirements to all key stakeholders, and other IT CoE’s.
  • Responsible for the user acceptance testing (UAT), validation, and signoff of new solution delivery for projects and enhancements.
  • Monitors solutions, continuous improvement metrics, and capability development alignment with overall IT strategies for the Ecommerce and Mobile Technology Capability Group.
  • Validates that the technical solution design accurately meets the stated business objectives.
  • Delivers data insights and requirements with a focus on enhancing the customer experience.
  • Analyzes the tools and applications available to deliver business value, continually looking for data-supported opportunities for application rationalization, including applications with duplicate capabilities.
  • Supports day-to-day Ecommerce and mobile technology vendor relationships and builds strong partnerships.
  • Is able to evaluate multiple vendor performances to ensure the best performance and financial return.
  • Stays current with SFCC product roadmaps, mobile app industry trends, best practices, and impact to Altar’d State’s technology landscape.
  • Supports the supportability of solutions including analyzing the integrity of the upgrade path.
  • Collaborates across CoE’s to support alignment, requirement gathering, planning, dependencies, and resource allocation.
  • Operates with an All For One approach to achieving priorities.
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry best practices, emerging trends, and new innovation within the Ecommerce and mobile application space.
  • Has the ability to apply these in the service of the company’s key business goals.

Qualifications

  • Able to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, communicate data insights and strategy, and build consensus around key initiatives and projects.
  • Strong analytical and data-gathering skills with internal customers and external service providers.
  • Possesses interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written; able to articulate complex data ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; can handle the unexpected with flexibility.
  • A team player who favors collaborative approaches when working with internal and external partners.
  • Proven ability to build trust with others through a commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.
  • Knowledge of Ecommerce and mobile app solutions; able to analyze, evaluate, and support the delivery of the most appropriate technologies to support the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, design, and document comprehensive technical solutions.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Display professionalism and good judgment.
  • 3 or more years of Product Analysis or Business Analysis experience in Ecommerce Technology solution delivery, including proven experience creating and managing mobile applications.
  • The analyst role includes the required skills - data analysis, requirement gathering, UAT testing, budgeting, and mobile vendor management.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; technology, business, or analytics disciplines preferred.
