Executive – Quality Assurance – Katana Plant

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO14001, BRC, SEDEX/SMETA, SA 8000 etc
  • Monitor raw materials for compliance with specs (PVC, Fibre, yarn, paints and chemicals etc)
  • In-process inspections, Final Inspections, Prepare Final inspection reports and update SAP system
  • Ensure the process quality and the product quality parameters — color consistency, pile height, density, and pattern accuracy
  • Handle customer complaints and conduct root cause analysis (RCA)
  • Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits
  • Ensure compliance with export standards (especially for EU/US markets)
  • Supervise QA Supervisors and the inspectors
  • Maintain quality documentation and reports
  • Coordinate and Conduct External testing's by 3rd party laboratories
  • Manage Samples - Retention, shipments and customer approved
  • Conduct Quality related trainings to Executives, Supervisors and the operators
  • Conduct 3rd party shipment inspections arranged by the customers

Candidate Profile:

  • 1 or 2 years’ Experience in QA
  • Knowledge of quality standards.
  • Familiarity with tools like: Statistical Process Control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis (Fishbone, 5 Whys)
  • Understanding of Managements System Certifications
  • Good leadership and reporting skills
  • Preference will be given to those who are from Katana or around proximity
