- The role supports product development and pricing by assisting in the preparation of policy contracts and the development and maintenance of policy forms to meet business and regulatory requirements. The job also facilitates the preparation and submission of documents for regulatory product filings.
Preferred skills
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of documents.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient in using computers and standard office applications.
- Knowledge of life insurance products or familiarity with the life insurance company's business operations.
- Adapts readily to changing priorities and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least one year of work experience in product development or operations-related role within a life insurance company.
- Willing to take LOMA courses / currently taking or has completed LOMA courses.
Responsibilities
- Participates in development and revision of policy provisions, application forms, ancillary forms, and other documents required for product launches.
- Prepares and submits product filing documents to the Insurance Commission (IC), coordinates with the IC on submission status, drafts supporting regulatory documents, and addresses additional requirements raised after the initial submission.
- Maintains, updates, and safeguards the department’s central library of policy forms approved by the Insurance Commission.
