Role Overview

We are looking for experienced and hands-on Data Center / IT Support Engineers for a freelance work based in Muscat, Oman. In this role, you will play a critical part in our Data Center Installation Project, ensuring seamless execution, hardware setup, and network infrastructure deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware & Data Center Setup: Handle physical rack mounting, rack exchange, cabling, server installation, and hardware component replacements.

Network & Infrastructure Support: Assist with the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of network devices, switches, routers, and IT network infrastructure.

Diagnostics & Maintenance: Perform initial hardware diagnostics, cable tracing, labeling, and signal testing to ensure optimal operating conditions.

Vendor & Project Coordination: Work alongside on-site technical teams and remote engineers to execute deployment plans according to project specifications.

Documentation: Keep detailed logs of rack layouts, asset tagging, maintenance activities, and completed installations.
