Scope of Services

As a Data Engineer at Flix, you can make an impact by building the data pipelines and products that power marketing budget decisions for one of Europe's fastest-growing mobility platforms and contributing to team’s expansion into marketing attribution.

About the Engagement

  • Use Python, SQL, and Airflow to develop reliable data pipelines that empower marketing stakeholders with timely, actionable data
  • Be a good judge of when to delegate to AI, when to trust, and when to meticulously review AI-generated work
  • Ensure data quality through validation, monitoring, and clear documentation
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices within the team
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and team to understand marketing stakeholders' data needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Contribute to the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
  • Understand data products deeply enough to independently investigate data questions, spot anomalies, and explain what the numbers mean to non-technical stakeholders

About You

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in data engineering
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field - candidates from Business or Marketing backgrounds with technical exposure are also welcome
  • Solid experience with Python, CI/CD, Terraform, SQL, relational databases, and Git
  • Familiar with ETL orchestration tools such as Airflow
  • Naturally curious - comfortable digging into data independently to find the root cause, framing questions about data and developing deep domain expertise over time
  • Communicates well and works effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; fluent in English
  • Preferred: experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or foundational marketing knowledge

Callibration model

  • Cooperation based on a service agreement (B2B/freelance contract), not an employment contract
  • You will operate as an independent contractor, responsible for delivering agreed services and submitting invoices
  • Location: open for contractors based in Poland
