Full description

We are seeking a resilient and adaptable QA Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the quality and reliability of our software by rigorously testing changes and improvements within our product pipeline. Additionally, the QA Analyst will support other QA team members, investigate issues, and handle various ad-hoc testing requests. The ideal candidate will excel in an environment that requires frequent adaptation and collaboration with multiple teams and stakeholders, contributing to our efforts to improve workflow predictability.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Test Execution:

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on product changes and improvements.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using our tracking system, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Verify fixes and perform re-testing as needed.
  • Ensure all product changes meet the defined quality standards.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with the development team to understand changes and their impact on the product and ensure alignment on priorities and testing status.
  • Assist other QA team members with their testing efforts, including investigating and troubleshooting issues.
  • Handle various ad-hoc testing requests, including special requests for large changes, smoke tests, and other unplanned QA work.

 

Release Testing:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for release testing.
  • Capture testing processes, build test cases, and manage them effectively.
  • Execute manual test cases to ensure the release is thoroughly tested and all issues are resolved.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years experience in a QA role
  • Profiency with QA tools and defect tracking systems
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software development life cycle
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and web testing
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $65,000-70,000 DOQ

Work Location/Schedule:   On site in Minneapolis-based office.  Monday-Friday day shift.
