Job Summary**
As a Project Manager at HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of energy infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Job Responsibilities**
* Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure, adhering to company policies and project management methodologies. * Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. * Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. * Oversee project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance feedback. * Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met. * Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed. * Communicate project progress, issues, and risks effectively to all stakeholders, including senior management and clients. * Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards. * Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and effective communication. * Prepare and present project reports, presentations, and documentation. * Procure and manage external vendors and subcontractors as required. * Facilitate project close-out activities, including lessons learned and final documentation.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical ) or Project Management. * Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in project management, preferably within the energy sector (power transmission, distribution, renewable energy, etc.). * Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. * PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable. * Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools. * Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively. * Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6). * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations. * Fluency in English; knowledge of local Indian languages is an advantage.
