Experience: Minimum 6+ Years of experience in Quality Engineering, designing and implementing test automation frameworks for web and API platforms. Expert in .Net/Python and tools such as Playwright, PyTest, Load Runner and DevOps, with a strong focus on shift‑left testing, CI/CD integration, and scalable, reliable test suites. Proven track record leading quality strategy, mentoring QA/SDETs, and collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver high‑quality, release‑ready software at speed.”

Core Experience Areas for a Senior SDET:

Quality Strategy and Leadership

• Define and Implement quality engineering strategy across multiple products and teams
• Establish testing standards, processes, and quality governance frameworks
• Drive adoption of shift-left testing and developer owned quality practices
• Define quality metrics, KPI and release readiness criteria
• Build a culture of continuous quality improvement

Automation and Engineering Excellence

• Establish scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and modern testing tools
• Define automation strategies for UI, API, Integration and performance Testing
• Promote automation first approach

AI Product Quality

• Define testing approaches for AI and GenAI based applications
• Establish Benchmark Datasets and validations strategies for AI output
• Define approaches for prompt regression testing, hallucination detection and accuracy measurement
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability and trustworthiness of AI powered solutions

Team Development

• Mentor and coach QA engineers, automation engineers and SDETS
• Develop career paths and learning plans for quality engineering team members
• Drive knowledge sharing and adoptions
