Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to support our UK customer base, with a strong focus on cloud-hosted environments and infrastructure. This role will play a critical part in troubleshooting complex application and hosting-related issues, particularly following system upgrades, database refreshes, and performance incidents.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support for cloud-hosted applications (Azure environment)
  • Troubleshoot issues related to:• Database refreshes and upgrades
  • Application errors in test and production environments
  • Batch processing and performance degradation
  • Collaborate with Hosting and Infrastructure teams to resolve escalations
  • Analyze recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions
  • Support customer environments including testing and production systems
  • Document solutions and contribute to knowledge base articles

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS)
  • Solid understanding of SQL Server and database management
  • Experience supporting hosted/SaaS applications
  • Ability to diagnose performance issues and system errors
  • Familiarity with incident management tools (e.g., Zendesk or similar)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with enterprise asset management or fleet management systems
  • Knowledge of application integrations and data pipelines
  • Exposure to ITIL practices or structured support environments

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
