Job Description

Join our team in Pardubice as a Business Data Analyst - Pricing & Commercial Excellence and play a key role in improving profitability, pricing strategies and commercial performance across our business. You will support the transformation of our pricing, account management and commercial excellence practices through data-driven insights and analysis.

What will you do?

The objective is to provide more than regular reporting - rather proactively identify opportunities to improve profitability, pricing consistency, discount policies, portfolio management and sales efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze pricing, margins and profitability across products, customers and regions - Turn data into pricing and commercial recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve pricing performance and business profitability - Analyze profitability, margins, pricing and discount performance.
  • Evaluate discount structures and recommend pricing optimization actions.
  • Support pricing strategy through market analysis, pricing simulations and CRM win/loss insights.
  • Provide commercial insights into customer profitability, purchasing behavior and key account performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales operational efficiency and business processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Pricing and Supply Chain teams.
  • Ensure pricing data quality and develop meaningful dashboards and business reports.
  • Occasional travel (every 6–8 weeks) to France or Germany.

 

Qualifications

Your Background & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Finance, Controlling, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Pricing Analytics, Revenue Management, Product Management Analytics, or Sales Operations (Preferred experience in a manufacturing or B2B company).
  • Strong experience with data analysis, reporting, and business performance evaluation.
  • Strong exposure to commercial function is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and CRM platforms.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, data modelling, and pricing-related analytics.
  • SQL knowledge is an advantage.
  • Fluent English for daily use (C1 level).
  • Residence within commuting distance of Pardubice.
  • Driving licence.
