We are seeking a Warranty Financial Analyst to work in an environment that fosters world-class professional development. You will be part of a dynamic and passionate team that plays a key role in decision-making while managing warranty costs for the best powersports products on the market.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- As a member of the Finance team reporting to the Warranty Team Lead, your primary mandate will be to record, analyze, and explain variances between actual financial results, budget, forecasts, and the prior year.
- Establish warranty budgets and forecasts.
- Act as a key resource person to bridge connections between the Warranty, Quality, Engineering, and Marketing departments.
- Present end-of-season analyses to managers.
- Participate in the company's month-end closing process and ensure the accuracy of warranty financial statements.
- Ensure monitoring and rigor regarding existing internal controls, as well as those to be implemented or improved.
- Participate in various special projects.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting; a professional accounting designation (CPA) is an asset.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a financial analyst.
- Ability to communicate daily with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or with unilingual English speakers.
- Proficient in advanced Excel functions; working knowledge of SAP, Access, and PowerPoint.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL is an asset.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Curious, strong analytical and synthesizing skills, eager to learn, with solid planning and organizational skills.
