Job Description
- Develop and maintain the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process and coordinate any engineering changes.
- Interface with Production, Procurement and other functions for consistency and data integrity of product / parts related material master record data across all affected Agilent ERP systems.
- Structuring / setup BOM for New Product Introduction, release / maintain documents / drawings. Support parts setup and release.
- Support NPI team by driving the product life cycle discipline and monitoring manufacturing deliverables.
- Support CPL release and CPL obsolescence (for product launching and obsolescence).
- Drive innovation and optimization of Product Data Management (PDM) processes for ISO9K / ISO13485 compliance.
- Ability to lead projects represent Product Data Management team.
- Collaborate with Engineering (including R&D), Supply Chain, Marketing and Product Support and play an internal consultant role related to Product structure and representation.
- Analyze and lead continuous improvement program / project and problem prevention, collaborate well with internal customers.
- Works on business system / process assignments with broadly defined objectives.
- Continuous improvement for operation efficiency to meet and improve KPIs (example ECO turnaround times and First pass rate).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field. Advanced Degree or relevant certifications.
- 1-3 years of Engineering data management experience.
- Previous experience in roles involving both Engineering change management, preferably in a complex manufacturing environment.
- In-depth understanding of product design, manufacturing processes, BOM structures, and configuration management principles.
- Proficiency in using relevant software tools, including PLM and ERP systems. Agile & SAP ECC experience, at least 2 years. High knowledge in Agile & SAP and a basic understanding of the boundary business processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards pertinent to the industry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively.
- Experience with change management methodologies and practices.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to work across with different organizations with a wide variety of personalities, both internationally and cross-functionally.
- Fluent in spoken and written Chinese.
- Self-disciplined, proactive, and outgoing personality.
- Strong data analytical skills.
- Able to perform programming / have VBA / SAP scripting / power automate / any RPA skillsets and Python will be an added advantage.
