Benefits
Full description
We are looking for a Business Analyst whose core mission is to automate the processes our Compliance, Legal, and Internal Control teams currently run by hand. These teams keep the bank operating within the regulatory landscape, and as the business scales, a large part of their daily work - checks, reviews, reports, document flows - still relies on manual effort and spreadsheets. Your job is to change that. In this role, you will study how these teams actually work today: map their processes end to end, spot repetitive manual steps and bottlenecks, and turn them into clear, structured requirements for automation. You will act as a bridge between Compliance, Legal, Internal Control, Product, Operations, and Engineering, and ensure smooth delivery across teams.
Challenges that await you:
- Gathering business requirements from Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Operations, and translating them into clear specifications
- Decomposing regulatory and legislative requirements into actionable changes across products and processes
- Researching and evaluating third-party solutions (vendors, data providers, platforms), preparing recommendations together with stakeholders
- Mapping stakeholders for each initiative and clarifying ownership and responsibilities
- Identifying and documenting dependencies between teams, systems, and processes
- Producing documentation (BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams)
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Risk, Legal, Operations, Data) to align on scope and timelines
- Supporting the development lifecycle: clarifications during implementation, UAT, and releases
- Participating in discovery, backlog grooming, and sprint planning
- Documenting as-is and to-be processes to ensure shared understanding across teams
What makes you a great fit:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in fintech, banking, or another regulated industry
- Proven ability to gather and document business requirements (BRDs, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria)
- Solid system analysis basics: reading technical documentation (APIs, integration flows), understanding architecture at a high level, and working effectively with engineers
- Experience with process modeling (BPMN, UML, or similar)
- Experience with low-code tools (e.g. n8n), Jira automation, or advanced hands-on use of Claude Code
- Strong stakeholder management: ability to identify involved parties, clarify responsibilities, and keep teams aligned
- Basic knowledge of SQL or spreadsheets for data validation
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- B2 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team
Your bonus skills:
- Background in legal, compliance, or related domains
- Familiarity with banking regulations and their implementation in systems and processes
- Comfort working with spreadsheets for data exploration
Our ways of working:
• Innovative Spirit: A commitment to creativity and groundbreaking solutions
• Honest Feedback: valuing open, transparent communication
• Supportive Team: a strong, collaborative community
• Celebrating Achievements: recognizing our wins together
• High-Tech Environment: a team full of smart and revolutionary people who date to challenge the status quo of incumbent finances
Our benefits:
• Relocation support to Mexico with assistance for the employee and their family
• Flexible work from our office
• Healthcare Coverage
• Education Budget: Language lessons, professional training and certifications
• Wellness Budget: Mental health and fitness activity reimbursements
• Vacation policy: 20 days of annual leave and paid sick leave
