Job Title: MuleSoft Developer (Java) Experience: 5-7 Years Location: Offshore Employment Type: Full-Time
Role Overview We are seeking a skilled MuleSoft Developer with 5-7 years of overall IT experience, including strong expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Java development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting integration solutions across enterprise applications, APIs, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in API-led connectivity, Mule 4 development, and integration best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, integrations, and reusable MuleSoft components.
- Develop Mule applications using Mule 4, DataWeave, API Manager, and Runtime Manager.
- Implement API-led connectivity architecture and integration patterns.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Integrate enterprise applications, databases, SaaS platforms, and third-party systems.
- Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Support CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.
- Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and support artifacts.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-7 years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11) and object-oriented programming concepts.

- Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and Web Services.
- Experience in API design and implementation following API-led connectivity principles.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and version control practices.
- Knowledge of integration patterns, message queues, and event-driven architecture.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills.
Preferred Skills
- MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) certification.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in financial services, banking, or enterprise integration projects.
- Familiarity with security frameworks including OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, and SSL.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in an offshore delivery model.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Salesforce, SAP, Workday, or other enterprise platform integrations.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
