Job Description

Join us as the Product Manager, HDS (Hazardous Drugs Solutions), where you will lead the national marketing strategy and execution for designated Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) product platforms across Canada. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing the MDS Canada growth strategy for assigned products.

This role develops and executes annual strategic marketing plans, including product positioning, customer segmentation, forecasting, branding, lifecycle management, and go-to-market initiatives. You will lead strategies that drive sales growth, expand market presence, and support key business objectives.

The successful candidate will manage product line marketing budgets, influence cross-functional business decisions and resource planning, and lead strategic projects and initiatives. Decisions and recommendations made in this role directly impact revenue performance and marketing investment effectiveness. Leveraging advanced marketing expertise, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Clinical, and Commercial Excellence teams to identify opportunities, optimize execution, and strengthen MDS Canada's competitive position. 

Job responsibilities: 

  • Develop and leverage market, customer, and competitive insights to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support business decisions.
  • Lead product portfolio marketing strategies and execution to achieve revenue, growth, and profitability objectives.
  • Support annual business planning, forecasting, demand planning, and long-term portfolio strategy.
  • Drive product launches, marketing communications, sales enablement, and training initiatives.
  • Manage pricing, contracting, channel strategies, product mix, and go-to-market execution.
  • Partner with global marketing teams to align platform strategies, forecasts, and growth initiatives for Canada.
  • Provide sales support through market intelligence, customer engagement, opportunity planning, and competitive positioning.
  • Support GPO strategies, RFPs, contract management, distributor relationships, and key customer initiatives.
  • Lead national conferences, events, and customer engagement programs.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Services and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to advance advocacy and portfolio growth.
  • Support and maintain distributor relationships for key portfolios including execution of go-to-market strategies, pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and training. 

Education & Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is an asset 
  • Minimum of 3+ years of business experience in the healthcare industry in a marketing or product manager role.
  • Experience in identifying Market Opportunities, Market Segmentation, Targeted Marketing, Competitive Analysis, Pricing Strategy and Go to Market models and strategies. 

Knowledge and Skills required:

  • Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into business decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, creativity, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and drive results.
  • Highly organized with strong project and process management capabilities, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused team player with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 35–40% within Canada and internationally, as required. Including travel to the United Stakes for meetings and training.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Fluency in French (read, write, speak) strong asset

Salary ranges have been implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of associates’ progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility. There are many factors that contribute to the range displayed. The range displayed is comprised of wages, which includes base salary and commission, as well as certain components of our bonus programs. The salary offered to a successful candidate may vary based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, education, skills, qualifications, and work location. 

Salary Range Information:  $85000 - $135000 CAD Annual
