Build Your Future with KCI KCI Construction is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for the overall success of assigned projects, including safety, financial performance, scheduling, client relationships, and leadership of the project team. The ideal candidate brings strong construction experience, enjoys solving complex problems, and can effectively lead both people and projects from planning through completion.

What You'll Do

  • Lead industrial projects from preconstruction and planning through construction and closeout.
  • Support business development efforts by strengthening client relationships, identifying future project opportunities, and partnering with leadership to help grow KCI's industrial market. 
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, contracts, change orders, and overall financial performance.
  • Partner with Superintendents and field leadership to plan and execute work safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and other project resources.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and project partners.
  • Lead project meetings and communicate project status, risks, schedule, costs, and key decisions.
  • Identify project challenges early and develop solutions to minimize impacts to cost, schedule, and operations.
  • Support the planning and execution of shutdowns, outages, tie-ins, and other critical work activities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other project team members.
  • Support estimating, constructability reviews, procurement, and other preconstruction activities.
  • Ensure projects meet contract requirements, quality standards, and client expectations.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of construction experience.
  • Experience managing complex industrial, power, energy, or similar construction projects strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project teams, budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, forecasting, scheduling, and change management.
  • Experience working in active operating facilities and coordinating work around owner operations preferred.
  • Experience with self-perform construction preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
