Business Analyst

Job requirementsExperience Range: With at least 4 years of experience in business analysis, including 2 years specifically working with Pega platform solutions in product management environments Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirements gathering and analysis for Pega platform solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and measurable outcomes
  • Develop precise user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows to drive agile product development and effective sprint planning
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and meetings to define, refine, and validate functional and non-functional requirements
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation, including BRD, FRD, wireframes, mockups, and process diagrams using Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io
  • Map business processes using BPMN methodologies and value stream mapping to identify and quantify process improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution feasibility, timely delivery, and successful product releases
  • Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination to validate business solutions
  • Analyze upstream and downstream system integrations, perform data validation, and support data analysis for seamless process execution

Required Skills:

  • Pega Platform expertise, including case management and terminology (Cases, Stages, Steps, Personas)
  • Requirements gathering and business analysis for digital process automation
  • User story writing and acceptance criteria definition in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Process mapping and BPMN modeling using Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and backlog management
  • JIRA or Azure DevOps for requirements tracking and sprint management
  • Documentation skills for BRD, FRD, process flows, wireframes, and mockups
  • Confluence for collaboration and documentation
  • Data validation concepts and integration awareness with upstream/downstream systems

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced value stream mapping and process improvement experience
  • Experience coordinating UAT and business validation in enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) certification
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) certification
