Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and growth-oriented Product Manager to join our product team. The ideal candidate will take end-to-end ownership of our direct-to-consumer (B2C) offerings, applying consumer psychology and rapid experimentation to maximize user acquisition, daily active engagement, and retention. In this role, you will lead continuous A/B testing, optimize self-serve monetization funnels, and build rigorous business cases for new offerings. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including technology, marketing, content, and customer success—you will deliver frictionless, emotionally-resonant experiences that help Catholics understand, live, and share their faith.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a clear, prioritized product roadmap that aligns with organizational goals and ensures successful implementation.
  • Lead the product vision, lifecycle, and growth strategy for direct-to-consumer offerings.
  • Develop quantitative business cases, market forecasts, and strategic justifications for new and prospective consumer product features and offerings
  • Create and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies, designing high-converting onboarding and product adoption funnels.
  • Run continuous multivariate and split tests on UI/UX elements and workflow details to drive incremental conversion lifts using large quantitative datasets.
  • Leverage consumer psychology to maximize daily active usage (DAU) and long-term user retention.
  • Optimize the consumer checkout experience, freemium conversion triggers, subscription models, and frictionless payment funnels.
  • Direct UI/UX and product design decisions to ensure intuitive, accessible, and deeply engaging user interactions. .
  • Advocate for an exceptional user experience, leveraging customer research and insights to improve every user interaction with the products.
  • Manage day-to-day project coordination, ensuring timely delivery of product initiatives.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and content teams, to implement projects effectively and on time.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and take proactive measures to address challenges.
  • Optimize the user experience by analyzing feedback, usability data, and industry best practices.
  • Clearly communicate product developments, updates, and changes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor product performance and implement optimizations to enhance user engagement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and initiatives.
  • Develop training and documentation to support product maintenance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Other responsibilities as directed by the Vice President, Product and Marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree in business or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a similar product-development/management leadership role or related field.
  • Deep understanding of the Catholic Church with a strong fundamental understanding in faith formation and catechesis.
  • Ability to learn about and advocate for what customers want and need to grow in the faith and/or teach the faith.
  • Experience delivering B2C (business-to-consumer) product solutions.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion in all interactions and decision-making.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong project management disciplines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
