Social Value Project Manager

Job Title: Social Value Project Manager

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Salary: Competitive salary and package, dependent on experience

Hybrid Working: This role will require regular attendance at our Newcastle, Cobalt Business Park office, with flexibility to work at client and partner locations where required.

Security Clearance: Any offer of employment may be subject to satisfactory BPSS and SC security clearance. This requires five years’ continuous UK address history at the point of application, typically including no periods of 30 consecutive days or more spent outside the UK.

As a Social Value Project Manager, you will

  • Manage an integrated delivery plan for a range of social value commitments across multiple contracts, maintaining clear ownership, milestones and dependencies.
  • Provide clear, accurate reporting against the plan, proactively flagging risks and issues and driving actions to ensure commitments are delivered on time and in line with agreed outcomes.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities and maintain a strong pipeline of new social value activities.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to connect commitments across contracts, identify synergies and deliver additional value for clients and communities.
  • Use AI ethically and appropriately to accelerate outputs, improve insight and support efficient delivery, while applying suitable judgement, governance and quality assurance.

We are looking for experience in the following skills

  • Experience managing integrated delivery plans across multiple contracts or workstreams, with clear ownership, milestones and dependencies.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to monitor progress, maintain accurate delivery information and communicate performance clearly.
  • A proven ability to identify, assess and escalate risks and issues, drive mitigating actions and support on-time, on-plan delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across internal teams, external organisations and community partners to develop a pipeline of activities.
  • Experience collaborating with clients to align commitments, identify synergies and create additional value across contracts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to tailor updates, recommendations and decisions for different audiences.
  • An understanding of how to use AI ethically and appropriately to improve efficiency and accelerate outputs, supported by sound judgement, governance and quality assurance.

  • A strong interest in technology careers and inclusive routes into the sector.
  • Experience supporting public sector bids or contractual social value commitments.
  • Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate impact through evidence and human-centred narratives.
