We are looking for a skilled Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our Technology team at Clarivate. In this role, you will administer, automate, and troubleshoot large-scale Linux and Kubernetes environments while contributing to infrastructure reliability, operational tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and production incident resolution.
You will work in a complex production environment and collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, networking, storage, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- 6 Years of strong experience administering Linux/Unix environments (RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux).
- Hands-on expertise with Python and Bash scripting for automation and operational tooling.
- Experience managing and troubleshooting production Kubernetes and container platforms.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins, GitHub, and GitLab.
- Understanding of networking, security, storage, compute, and infrastructure architecture.
- Proven experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and production troubleshooting.
It Would Be Great If You Also Had
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and version control best practices.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere and KVM.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault and enterprise secrets management practices.
- Exposure to large-scale, highly available, enterprise production environments.
