Lead Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps)

We are looking for a skilled Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our Technology team at Clarivate. In this role, you will administer, automate, and troubleshoot large-scale Linux and Kubernetes environments while contributing to infrastructure reliability, operational tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and production incident resolution.

You will work in a complex production environment and collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, networking, storage, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• 6 Years of strong experience administering Linux/Unix environments (RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux).

• Hands-on expertise with Python and Bash scripting for automation and operational tooling.

• Experience managing and troubleshooting production Kubernetes and container platforms.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins, GitHub, and GitLab.

• Understanding of networking, security, storage, compute, and infrastructure architecture.

• Proven experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and production troubleshooting.

It Would Be Great If You Also Had

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Terraform.

• Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and version control best practices.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

• Knowledge of virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere and KVM.

• Experience with HashiCorp Vault and enterprise secrets management practices.

• Exposure to large-scale, highly available, enterprise production environments.

What You Will Be Doing in This Role

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux systems across production environments.

• Develop automation solutions using Python and Bash to improve operational efficiency.

• Manage Kubernetes clusters, container platforms, and application deployments.

• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and release automation processes.

• Lead production incident resolution, root cause analysis, and service recovery activities.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security.
