Requirements

Requires 4-8 years of experience with strong hands-on proficiency in Java 17+, Spring Boot, and RESTful microservices. Candidates must have deep knowledge of API lifecycle management, security protocols like OAuth 2.0, and experience with modern cloud and DevOps practices.

Full description

  • Design end-to-end solutions using Java, Spring Boot,

Microservices, REST APIs, Mesh

  • Define application, integration, and API architecture aligned with

enterprise standards.

  • Design and implement Mesh API / API Mesh solutions for

integrating multiple services, systems, and data sources.

  • Define API contracts, service interfaces, data models,

authentication, authorization, and error-handling standards.

  • Design scalable and resilient microservices architectures.
  • Review existing applications and recommend modernization,

decomposition, and integration strategies.

  • Work closely with business analysts, product owners, architects,

developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.

  • Produce solution design documents, architecture diagrams, sequence

diagrams, API specifications, and technical documentation.

  • Ensure solutions meet requirements for security, performance,

scalability, availability, observability, and maintainability.

  • Conduct technical design reviews and provide guidance to Java

development teams.

  • Troubleshoot complex integration and production issues and provide

root-cause analysis.

  • Support CI/CD, cloud deployment, containerization, and DevOps

practices where required.

  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend appropriate solutions based

on business and technical requirements.

Required Technical Skills

Java & Backend

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+.
  • Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring

Security.

  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs and Microservices.
  • Good understanding of Java design patterns, SOLID principles, and

clean architecture.

  • Experience with asynchronous/event-driven architectures is

desirable.

API / Mesh

  • Strong experience in API design and integration.
  • Experience with Mesh API / API Mesh architectures and

integration of multiple backend services.

  • Understanding of API gateways, service discovery, routing,

aggregation/orchestration, authentication, authorization, throttling, and API versioning.

  • Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger and API lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, and enterprise API security.
