Senior .NET (with Java experience) Engineer

At the core of the role

In Argentina (CABA), we are looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting innovative solutions within the banking and financial services sector. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining high-performance applications that support critical business areas such as Online Banking, Payments, Transfers, etc.

Core skills you’ll bring

• 5+ years of experience developing with .NET Core

• Basic Java experience.

• Solid understanding of REST API design and development.

• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

• Experience working with orchestration platforms including Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.

• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Kafka.

• Experience with relational databases, particularly Oracle and PostgreSQL.

• Understanding of software development best practices, including code quality, testing, and CI/CD principles.

• Functional knowledge of banking products and processes.

• Native Spanish proficiency and Intermediate English.

Nice-to-have

• Previous experience in the banking, fintech, or digital financial services industry.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Experience integrating with third-party banking platforms and payment solutions.

The impact you'll create

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and services using .NET technologies.

• Build and enhance RESTful APIs that support critical banking and digital channel functionalities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Participate in system architecture discussions and technical decision-making.

• Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.

• Implement integrations using Kafka and other messaging technologies.

• Work with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases to ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability.

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure applications meet security, performance, and regulatory requirements relevant to the banking industry.
