Summary
We are a consumer product development firm seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our full-time team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will possess 0–2 years of experience and play a pivotal role in crafting a cohesive visual identity for our products, packaging, marketing initiatives, and digital channels. This position demands a professional who can seamlessly bridge the gap between initial concept and commercial execution, collaborating with Product Design, Marketing, R&D, and vendor networks to deliver high-quality visual solutions that align with our brand's core values and functional requirements.
Responsibilities
- Generate engaging visual assets for social media, digital campaigns, websites, and marketing initiatives.
- Produce a wide range of print collateral, including brochures, catalogs, flyers, posters, and banners.
- Establish and uphold a unified brand language and visual style across all touchpoints.
- Design comprehensive packaging solutions, encompassing boxes, sleeves, inserts, and structural elements.
- Develop precise product labels, regulatory compliance stickers, serial number tags, and barcode or QR code layouts.
- Prepare technical artwork with accurate dimensions, dielines, and print specifications for production.
- Generate print-ready files and production documentation for external vendors.
- Manage vendor relationships for sampling, production, and quality assurance.
- Evaluate vendor samples to verify that color accuracy, print quality, dimensions, materials, and finishes meet approved standards.
- Track project timelines and follow up on sample corrections and production requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Designers to ensure packaging and graphics harmonize with physical product aesthetics.
- Create visual assets for product presentations, concept pitches, exhibitions, and launch events.
- Design clear icons, infographics, diagrams, and instructional visuals to enhance user communication.
- Edit and optimize product imagery for marketing and presentation purposes.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high quality and adhering to strict deadlines.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback to execute necessary design revisions.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Solid grasp of design fundamentals, including typography, layout, composition, color theory, visual hierarchy, and branding principles.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; familiarity with Adobe InDesign is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of packaging design, label creation, and print production workflows.
- Knowledge of printing processes, material finishes, and color management systems.
- Ability to prepare production-ready artwork and articulate design specifications clearly to manufacturing partners.
- Capability to produce clean, modern, and professional visual designs.
- Expertise in preparing assets for both digital and print media applications.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to translate design briefs into effective visual communications.
- Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Applied Arts, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
- Submission of a mandatory portfolio showcasing design thinking, branding, packaging, typography, and print/digital projects.
Additional Skills – Advantage
- Experience with Figma, motion graphics, or basic video editing tools like Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro.
- Background in structural packaging graphics, product photography, or UI design.
- Prior experience working with printing and packaging vendors, including knowledge of dielines and finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with AI-based creative and design tools.
Selection Process
- Round 1 – HR Interview: An initial conversation to discuss the candidate's background, availability, and career expectations.
- Round 2 – Portfolio Review & Design Assessment: Shortlisted applicants will complete a practical design task to evaluate creativity, visual communication skills, packaging understanding, and attention to detail.
- Round 3 – Final Interview: A concluding discussion with the Design Head or management to assess overall suitability based on the portfolio and assessment results.
