Job Description

This role supports a Portfolio Management System within a banking technology environment. During the first year, the position will focus fully on testing, enabling the successful professional to develop detailed knowledge of the application and its functional ecosystem.

Subject to demonstrated autonomy and consistently high-quality testing delivery, Business Analysis responsibilities will be introduced progressively. The target allocation is approximately 60% testing and 40% Business Analysis.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, prepare, execute, and document functional, regression, integration, and peripheral test cases.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, specifications, test cases, defects, and results.
  • Validate application changes across the Portfolio Management System and connected systems, including end-to-end scenarios.
  • Analyse results, reproduce issues, investigate data using SQL where appropriate, and manage defects through closure.
  • Contribute to test strategy, test planning, release-readiness reporting, deployment support, and post-go-live validation.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing by preparing scenarios and test data and assisting business users.
  • Progressively participate in requirements workshops and translate business needs into functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Provide functional clarification to development and delivery teams.

Qualifications

  • At least five years of Business Analysis experience, including proven experience in a banking IT environment.
  • Functional knowledge of securities, wealth management, and securities and foreign-exchange order management.
  • Practical functional-testing experience covering test design, execution, defect management, regression testing, and end-to-end validation.
  • Experience producing functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria.
  • SQL knowledge for data analysis, investigation, and test validation.
  • Understanding of the full project lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with international, distributed delivery teams.
  • English at C1 level.

Additional Valued Experience

  • Wealth Management or Private Banking experience.
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Mentoring capability.
