As our next Manager - Business Advisory and Project Management, you will contribute to solving meaningful challenges across the life sciences industry. About the role
As a Manager - Business Advisory and Project Management, you will work closely with clients and colleagues to address complex challenges across the life sciences value chain. You will take ownership of your work and contribute to delivering solutions that create real, lasting impact. This is a Senior role designed to provide project and program leadership to deliver strategic technical solutions that address complex client issues in the Life Sciences industry. You will be handling implementation/migration projects and programs to achieve desired outcomes and ensure successful business growth. You will also seek new business opportunities to help BASE life science grow its presence within existing and new customers.
Additionally, you will contribute to internal initiatives and training to further strengthen BASE life science’s project and program management methodologies, approach, and tools.
You will lead teams consisting of multiple workstreams, which could include BASE/Infosys, external third party, or client stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in, project/program management and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Your responsibilities include:
• Developing responses to Requests for Proposals (RfPs), ensuring adequate planning for scope, timelines and budget
• Monitoring project/program status including milestones, risks, issues, budgets, etc.
• Acting as a delivery escalation point and proactively ensuring escalations are handled promptly with a clear action and communication plan.
• Creating and delivering tailored communication based on audience, i.e., executive level summaries for client stakeholders, or senior executives in BASE life science, status reports at a project or program-level at a suitable cadence for team members
• Intervening, when necessary, to ensure costs, timelines and quality are on track.
• Lead a cross-functional team to deliver projects/programs to the required scope, on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our life science industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders in the life science industry to understand their needs and translate them into executable plans for the project team.
• Develop plans, timelines, and budgets for projects/programs for which you are responsible.
• Track and report on project/program progress, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between the project team, life science industry stakeholders, and other teams within BASE life science.
You bring:
• 5+ years of experience as a technical project/program manager within Regulatory, Clinical, Quality or other GxP areas in the life science industry.
• Successful track record of managing technically complex projects/programs such as software development, implementation of IT systems, data migrations, etc.
• Experience leading technical teams and delivering data driven projects/programs.
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project etc.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies such as SAFe.
• Strong communication skills, both in writing, meetings and in presentations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Additionally, the ideal candidate has the following skills/certifications:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience selling either projects or products to clients.
• Experience working with Veeva Vault, SalesForce or similar technologies.
• Experience working with AI professionally
This position is offered in Denmark and Spain.
