Join Novonesis as our new Strategy Project Manager
Are you ready for a new beginning? At Novonesis, we use the power of biology to help solve some of humanity’s biggest challenges.
Do you combine manufacturing experience with strong strategic and financial judgement? Would you like to turn ambitious transformation targets into measurable results across a global operations organisation? Then this could be your next opportunity.
About the team
You will join the Operations Strategy team, which supports Operations leadership on strategic priorities and transformation. We are a small team of four colleagues and a student worker. Today, our primary focus is the Decoupling Cost from Growth programme, DCFG. However, our remit is the wider Operations strategy agenda, and our focus will evolve as priorities change. We work across functions, production sites and strategic priorities and collaborate closely, challenge each other constructively and adapt when priorities change. Our goal is to make Operations more productive, scalable and ready for future growth.
Your impact
You will combine strategy, transformation and hands-on delivery across Novonesis Operations. This is not a PMO or project-administration role.
- Drive production-related and cross-functional initiatives in the DCFG portfolio and the wider Operations Strategy agenda.
- Track progress, remove barriers and support recovery actions when delivery is at risk.
- Strengthen initiatives by challenging their value, plans, resources, timing and risks.
- Partner with Finance and initiative owners on business cases, savings logic and benefit tracking.
- Lead selected strategic projects and support Operations leadership with recommendations and decision material.
Over time, the role offers broad exposure to Operations leadership and the opportunity to take on a larger share of the wider Operations transformation agenda.
What you’ll bring
- We welcome different career paths, including experience from industry or operations-focused consulting.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, operational excellence, supply chain or operational finance.
- Experience working in, or directly with, production sites.
- A record of delivering measurable operational and financial improvements.
- Experience leading ambiguous, cross-functional projects from definition to implementation.
- Strong business-case, Excel and communication skills, together with fluency in English. Danish is not required.
- Experience from process industries, budget processes, transformation offices or Power BI is an advantage, but not a requirement. We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every preferred qualification.
