Cavista Technologies is seeking an experienced and results-driven Software Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of software products and engineering initiatives across multiple development teams.
This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, product development, delivery governance, and stakeholder management, ensuring that teams consistently deliver high-quality software solutions on time and in alignment with business objectives.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding in software development delivery, Agile project and program management, SDLC governance, and engineering operational excellence. You will work closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to establish scalable delivery processes, improve team performance, and drive predictable software delivery outcomes.This position requires a leader who understands both the technical and operational aspects of software development and can effectively translate strategic objectives into executable delivery plans.
What will you do…
Delivery Leadership, Execution, and Stakeholder Engagement
- Own end-to-end delivery of software products, features, and engineering initiatives across multiple teams.
- Drive planning, execution, monitoring, and successful release of software products throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ensure delivery commitments are met while maintaining high standards of quality, security, performance, and scalability. Manage risks, and escalation paths to keep development initiatives on track.
- Serve as the primary delivery point of contact between Product, Engineering, Business, and Executive stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
- Support strategic planning, resource forecasting, and capacity management activities.
Agile & Engineering Processes
- Continuously improve software development processes, delivery frameworks, and team workflows to increase productivity and predictability.
- Establish delivery metrics and reporting mechanisms, including velocity, release predictability, lead time, cycle time, throughput, and quality indicators.
- Drive adoption of engineering best practices, release management, and automation initiatives.
- Engineering Excellence & Quality
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure software solutions meet architectural and quality standards.
- Drive quality-focused delivery practices, including automated testing, release readiness reviews, and production support processes.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and engineering excellence.
- Support technical teams in identifying opportunities for optimization, modernization, and process automation.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on ownership, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Support teams in resolving delivery challenges while helping remove organizational impediments.
Qualifications
What you bring…
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 7 years in a managerial/leadership role, and extensive experience in developing and delivering digital projects and products.
- Creative problem solver, able to build contingency plans and handle stressful situations with professionalism.
- Proven experience in leadership and direction to the delivery teams.
- Ability in handling Operational issues related to the delivery centre.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity

- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements management, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
