Full description

Choosing Capgemini means choosing a company where you will be empowered to shape your career in the way you’d like, where you’ll be supported and inspired by a collaborative community of colleagues around the world, and where you’ll be able to reimagine what’s possible. Join us and help the world’s leading organizations unlock the value of technology and build a more sustainable, more inclusive world.

Your role:

As Technical Project Manager – AI Products for Neo within Capgemini, you will lead the delivery of AI-powered capabilities on Neo, the Group-wide AI platform, from initial business demand through to production adoption. This is a technical project management role in which you also own the requirement: you specify what gets built, not only when it lands. The role requires strong business analysis capability alongside delivery discipline. You will qualify and challenge incoming demand, translate it into functional and technical specifications, assess feasibility with engineering and platform teams, and steer delivery, change approval and release into production. You will work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, AI/ML and Frontend Engineers, Platform Engineering, QA and business stakeholders, acting as the single point of contact for your stream — accountable for scope, quality and timeline, and trusted to give a clear, evidence-based answer on feasibility and priority.

About Group IT: At Group IT, we believe that difference drives change. Our vision is bold, and our mission is clear: to empower the business through technology that enables efficiency, profitability, and sustainable growth. We deliver enterprise-wide solutions by harmonizing global standards and integrating all business units into a unified IT services model. As a strategic partner to the business, Group IT translates complex needs into actionable initiatives, advocating for our stakeholders across the global technological landscape. We are currently driving a series of transformative rollouts and initiatives that enhance security, streamline operations, and elevate digital experiences for every Capgemini employee around the globe. Our ambition is to build a connected, intelligent, and inclusive IT enterprise—accessible to anyone, anytime, anywhere. This is your opportunity to lead changes, shape the future, and build technology that matters.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Qualifying and challenging incoming business demand and shaping it into enterprise AI use cases with a stated business outcome — authoring and reviewing Business Requirement Documents, assessing feasibility and impact of integration and tooling requests (third-party platforms, data sources, connectors, APIs), and translating needs into functional and technical specifications, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Specifying user-facing behaviour together with UX and engineering — interaction flows, component behaviour and edge cases — reviewing designs in Figma and closing open functional questions before development starts.
  • Planning and steering delivery with a distributed development team: managing scope, dependencies, risks and issues, escalating early with a proposed course of action, and acting as the day-to-day contact for business stakeholders and other Group IT towers on scope, roadmap and feasibility.
  • Owning change and release for your scope: preparing and managing Change Requests through the enterprise change process including CCB alignment, coordinating the weekly production release, managing promotion across development, SIT, QA and production, and informing QA and stream leads of scope ahead of code freeze so testing can be planned.
  • Leading root cause analysis on production incidents, release failures and recurring defects — triaging with QA and L3 support to separate genuine defects from configuration or environment issues, establishing the underlying cause rather than the symptom, and driving corrective and preventive actions to closure so the same issue does not return.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Informatics or a related field, with experience in technical project management, technical business analysis or digital delivery on enterprise products — including at least one role where you carried both specification and delivery accountability. We are more interested in the substance of what you have delivered than in the number of years.
  • Proven requirements craft: elicitation, BRD authoring and review, functional specification, user stories, acceptance criteria and traceability, with hands-on Jira (or equivalent) experience across refinement, delivery tracking, release scoping and defect triage.
  • Structured problem-solving and root cause analysis capability — for example 5 Whys or fishbone/Ishikawa analysis supported by logs, data and reproduction — with the judgement to separate symptom from cause and the persistence to close the corrective action.
  • Working familiarity with structured change and release processes (change requests, approval workflows, eBAP/CCBA); German or another European language alongside English.

Bonus:

  • Delivery or analysis experience on Generative AI or LLM-based products — AI assistants, conversational interfaces, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation.
  • Hands-on ownership of a recurring production release cycle, including CCB coordination, release tagging and deployment readiness sign-off.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or a comparable public cloud.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT governance, security and data-privacy review processes.
  • Certification in project or agile delivery (PMP, PRINCE2, PSM, PSPO, SAFe) and/or business analysis (IREB, C)

What we believe you will enjoy about working here:

  • Being at the forefront of Capgemini's AI transformation, helping shape the future of how thousands of employees work through Neo, our enterprise AI platform.
  • Working with cutting-edge technologies including Generative AI, AI Agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), and intelligent automation solutions.
  • Collaborating with a diverse network of business leaders, product managers, AI engineers, designers, and technology experts across the globe.
  • Having the opportunity to influence strategy, product direction, and innovation while seeing your ideas translate into tangible business value.
  • Joining a highly collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning, experimentation, and personal growth in one of the fastest-evolving areas of technology.

Application: As part of our recruitment process, identity verification will be conducted through inspection of your ID card, and background checks may be carried out as required.
