Overview
We are looking for a DevOps Specialist with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure to help design, build, and optimize cloud-native platforms that power innovative AI solutions. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, AI engineers, data scientists, and developers, leveraging Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and Azure best practices to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing applications. You will also provide technical leadership within an Agile environment, helping teams solve complex challenges and accelerate delivery. Responsibilities
- Design, review, and contribute to solution architectures for AI-driven applications with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Act as a technical lead within an Agile Scrum team, supporting planning, estimation, dependency management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Guide engineering teams in adopting and enforcing DevOps, coding, security, and quality best practices.
- Collaborate with software engineers, AI specialists, and stakeholders to design and implement scalable cloud solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions leveraging Azure services and cloud-native architectures.
- Develop new services, automation tools, and proof-of-concepts to support business and technical objectives.
- Build, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions and deployment pipelines.
- Support feature estimation and sprint planning activities within Scrum ceremonies.
- Oversee deployment processes and collaborate closely with Quality Engineering teams to validate and certify releases.
- Participate in release management activities and contribute to release documentation and notes.
- Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve the reliability, performance, and security of cloud environments.
Skills & Experience
Microsoft Azure & Cloud Technologies
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
- Strong knowledge of:
-Virtual Networking and DNS
-Identity and Access Management
-Azure Container Apps, Kubernetes (AKS), and App Services
-Application Gateway and Web Application Firewall (WAF)
-Azure API Management
- Deep understanding of Azure architecture, cloud security, observability, and cloud-native design principles.
DevOps & Automation
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Terraform.
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Strong experience with source control and collaboration platforms such as GitHub.
- Experience deploying, monitoring, and supporting microservices-based applications.
Agile & Delivery
- Experience working within Scrum Agile environments.
- Ability to estimate technical work, identify dependencies, and manage delivery risks.
- Experience managing work items, releases, and project tracking using Jira.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and distributed teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps engineering, and modern application delivery practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions in Azure environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale cloud transformation initiatives.
