Could you be the full-time Senior Devops Engineer we’re looking for?

Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise within Development Operations and test automation on safety critical and complex railway systems. As a devOps engineer within Verification & Validation you will support us continuing building and further develop our test frameworks and test automation solutions of our Trackside products. The products range all the way from the Interlocking and Radio Block Site to the Local Control Centre and object controllers. With test automation solutions both on a sub-system level and on system level.

You’ll act as an reference point when it comes to our test frameworks and define the next steps of them together with the other test product owners. You’ll be responsible to act as a support function, defining and maintaining the virtual test bench and automation solution in order to fulfill our automation- and V&V strategy.

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and define strategies, perform verification activities, and ensure robust performance and development of our automatic test environment.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Drive improvements for developing our automatic test environment.
  • Define automatic test strategy across our different sub-system and system level tests,
  • Support in fault tracing the automatic test environment.
  • Co-operate with other departments to align test activities.
  • Continuously improve our test bench setup and evaluate new solutions.
  • Support in automation initiatives across V&V domain

  • Education in Engineering or senior work experience in V&V and/or automation.
  • Advanced level of system V&V methods and strong understanding of automatic testing involving Hardware and Software
  • Experience in building and validating sub- and system test setups
  • Experience defining and implementing V&V strategies across multiple integration levels
  • Experience with Python scripting and log analysis
  • Experience with Bash scripting and log analysis
  • Experience in test automation
  • Experience with safety critical (SIL4 classification) is an advantage
  • Analytical, self-driven, and detail-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to challenge and validate decisions
  • Proactive, dedicated, and solution-oriented approach
