As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.

Job Description & Summary 

A career within ITFT Consulting Services will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients leverage transformation to enhance their customer experiences. 

Responsibilities: 

• Define enterprise infrastructure and platform architecture standards, principles, and reference architectures. 

• Design scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing hybrid infrastructure solutions. 

• Review existing infrastructure designs and recommend optimization opportunities. 

• Assess platform readiness for application modernization, cloud-native adoption, and digital transformation initiatives. 

• Lead current-state (As-Is) assessment of enterprise infrastructure, platforms, cloud environments, and operational capabilities. 

• Evaluate infrastructure maturity across compute, virtualization, storage, networking, backup, DR, security, and cloud adoption. 

• Conduct stakeholder workshops to understand business, technology, compliance, and operational requirements. 

• Identify infrastructure gaps, risks, technical debt, operational inefficiencies, and scalability constraints. 

• Develop Target-State architecture and transformation roadmaps aligned to business objectives. 

• Recommend modernization strategies covering cloud adoption, hybrid infrastructure, automation, platform engineering, and operational resilience. 

• Establish architecture guardrails, governance standards, and technology blueprints. 

• Provide design assurance and technical oversight throughout implementation lifecycles. 

• Align technology solutions with business continuity, security, and regulatory requirements.

• Provide architecture guidance during migration, transformation, and platform consolidation initiatives. 

• Support selection of cloud-native and platform services aligned with business objectives. 

• Assess disaster recovery capabilities, resilience posture, and business continuity readiness. 

• Evaluate existing replication, backup, failover, and recovery mechanisms. 

• Conduct RPO/RTO gap assessments against business requirements. 

• Recommend resilient architecture patterns across applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms. 

• Define enterprise DR frameworks, testing methodologies, and governance controls. 

• Provide oversight for failover testing, recovery validation, and resilience improvement programs. 

• Establish best practices for operational resilience and availability management. 

• Review deployment processes and identify automation opportunities across infrastructure operations. 

• Provide architecture oversight for platform engineering and self-service enablement initiatives. 

• Drive standardization and operational consistency through automation-led transformation.
