Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in React.js, Next.js, Redux, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, and Spring Boot.

The role will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality full-stack applications that are scalable, secure, performant, and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React.js, Next.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Design, develop, and optimise RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Build reusable front-end components and implement application features using React.js, Redux, Hooks, and modern UI frameworks.
  • Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
  • Work with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases, including schema design, query optimisation, and data integrity.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application stability and performance.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, developers, DevOps engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Apply security, coding, and performance best practices across front-end and back-end development.
  • Use Git and CI/CD pipelines to support efficient development, release, and deployment processes.
  • Monitor application performance, investigate technical issues, resolve defects, and provide technical support when required.
  • Participate in Agile development activities throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
  • Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Strong proficiency in React.js, Next.js, Redux, Hooks, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Good understanding of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and web performance optimisation.
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.
  • Experience with Git and version control practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience using JIRA or similar project management and collaboration tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Good to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerised applications.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience deploying or supporting applications on AWS.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and cloud-native application development.
