The Data Engineer acts as a bridge between business needs and data solutions. S/He collaborates with stakeholders across functions to understand requirements, make data accessible and trustworthy, and enable data-driven decision-making through scalable and sustainable solutions. Be a strategic partner who help business make a better decision.
- Collaborate with Technical & Production and Supply Chain stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver trusted data and analytics solutions that improve visibility of production, manufacturing performance, inventory, supply planning, and operational efficiency. Ensure business data is accurate, accessible, and fit for decision-making, while driving continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and data quality initiatives that support operational excellence and digital transformation.
- Lead and support data and analytics initiatives by coordinating project activities, managing priorities, and ensuring timely delivery of agreed outcomes. Build strong relationships with Technical & Production, Supply Chain, and other business stakeholders to understand needs, manage expectations, communicate progress, and drive adoption of data solutions that deliver measurable business value.
ARE YOU A FIT?
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in the relevant area of expertise
- Experience of successfully leading technical evaluations
- Experience of resolving technical issues, including those involving 3rd parties
- Experience in programming languages e.g., Python and SQL
- Experience in using cloud services/cloud providers e.g., Azure, GCP or AWS.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to simplify technical terms for non-technical users
- Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
- Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
- Experience in using Microsoft Power Platform is a plus (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, …)
