Job Description
- Own the product strategy and high-velocity delivery for buyer experience — translate company strategy into a quarterly and half-year plan, and make explicit what we prioritize, what we defer, and why.
- Identify the right problem to solve — frame ambiguous asks, challenge the stated request, and validate the problem before committing to a solution.
- Drive and maintain the product roadmap, and define the metric tree that links business outcomes to the input metrics your team can move.
- Commit to metric targets each quarter, and stay accountable for outcomes rather than output.
- Run the operating cadence — weekly metric reviews, monthly product reviews, and quarterly readouts — and re-plan early when we go off track.
- Manage stakeholders across vertical PMs, engineering, design, data, marketing, operations, and leadership up to Chairman level: align on priorities, resolve competing requests, document decisions, and represent the buyer domain in leadership forums.
- Manage cross-team dependencies so committed work ships on web, msite, iOS, and Android.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle — discovery, user research, conceptualization, prototyping, validation, and launch — synthesizing research into validated, prioritized buyer problems.
- Clear and agile specs — clearly define what to build, why, and success metrics in a fast-moving, AI-native environment.
- Design and run the experimentation program — hypothesis, sizing, guardrails, and clean ship or no-ship decisions — and partner with product analysts to turn results into learnings and action plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of product management experience on consumer-facing products, with hands-on exposure to at least one of: C2C marketplace, e-commerce, job platform, or discovery surfaces such as search, recommendation, or personalization.
- Track record of owning a product metric and moving it, on work spanning more than one team.
- Experience running quarterly or half-year planning: strategy, roadmap tradeoffs, and stakeholder alignment.
- Strong problem framing — you can structure an ambiguous ask and validate the real problem before solutioning.
- Data judgment — you know what data answers your question, and you work with AI tools and product analysts to turn it into product learnings and performance readouts.
- Clear written communication — specs, strategy docs, and executive updates that stand on their own.
- Fluent with AI tools in daily product work: research, analysis, specs, and prototyping, with the judgment to know where AI helps and where it does not.
- Experience working directly with engineers, designers, and analysts on mobile-first web and app products.
- Proactive, self-driven, and effective in a fast weekly delivery cadence
