Job Description:

Your Role on Our Team:

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to administer and improve the platforms, data processes, and controls supporting financial planning, reporting, allocations, and decision support. The role emphasizes system reliability, secure access, accurate data, user support, testing, documentation, and process automation. Finance knowledge provides valuable business context, but the primary focus is enterprise system administration and continuous improvement.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

System Administration & Support

  • Administer the Milwaukee Tool EPM solution, including access, security roles, workflows, metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, forms, reports, and allocations.
  • Monitor recurring processes, troubleshoot failures, coordinate resolution, and communicate impacts.
  • Provide functional user support, document root causes, and escalate technical defects when appropriate.
  • Support upgrades, patches, releases, regression testing, and environment readiness.

Data, Integrations & Controls

  • Support data loads, mappings, interfaces, validations, reconciliations, and outbound reporting processes.
  • Execute and validate recurring data and allocation processes for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Develop control checks, exception reporting, and audit documentation that strengthen data integrity.

Process Improvement & Partnership

  • Identify manual or error-prone activities and recommend standardized, automated, or system-enabled alternatives.
  • Use root-cause analysis to reduce recurring issues, risk, and cycle time.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, data teams, and vendors to deliver reliable, supportable solutions.

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years supporting enterprise applications, business systems, data processes, or reporting platforms.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, prioritization, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including strong Excel capability, and ability to collaborate across functions.

The TOOLS we prefer you have:

  • Experience with an enterprise performance management, planning, consolidation, or reporting platform.
  • Experience with security, metadata, workflows, reports, allocations, or financial data models.
  • Familiarity with integrations, SQL, APIs, ETL, scripting, workflow automation, testing, ticketing, or agile tools.
  • Working knowledge of planning, management reporting, month-end processes, and internal controls.
