Full description

Sleep Country Canada is looking for a Web Graphic & UX Designer to maintain and enhance the design, content, website quality assurance (QA), and overall customer experience across our e-commerce website and related digital channels, with a mobile-first mindset. This role is responsible for creating website and email creative, supporting product detail page (PDP) storytelling, preparing user experience layouts and developer handoffs, maintaining consistency within the design system, reviewing website updates across desktop and mobile experiences, and ensuring all digital assets adhere to responsive design best practices and brand guidelines.

In this role you will:

  • Design and maintain website creative, promotional assets, landing page modules, brand page updates, and campaign page visuals for digital channels.
  • Create and update product detail page graphics, product storytelling visuals, photography crops, resized images, asset placements, and launch support materials.
  • Support user experience design work, including Figma updates, wireframe adjustments, design variations, usability improvements, development handoff documentation, and design system support. Maintain and use existing UI components, templates, and design system assets to ensure consistency across digital experiences.
  • Produce email creative, blog visuals, SEO/AEO content graphics, and cross-channel digital assets that align with brand standards and campaign requirements.
  • Coordinate with E-Commerce, merchandising, marketing, analytics, and development partners to deliver accurate assets, review implementation, and resolve design or content issues.
  • Support digital optimization by preparing A/B test creative variations, AI-assisted image work, template updates, website QA, and customer experience improvements. Review website updates across desktop and mobile devices, identify visual or functional issues, and support QA before and after launches.

The Qualifications and Experience We Like to See:

  • University/College degree or postgraduate certificate in Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, Web Design, Digital Media, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a graphic, web, or UX design role.
  • Bilingual in English and French is mandatory
  • A portfolio demonstrating digital campaign design, e-commerce experiences, product storytelling, email design, and UX/UI work is required.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and related image-editing tools) and Figma or similar interface design and prototyping tools. Experience with Klaviyo, Dynamic Yield, and BigCommerce is considered an asset.
  • Experience designing responsive, mobile-first websites, digital campaign assets, email creative, product detail pages, wireframes, mock-ups, and developer-ready design specifications.
  • Working knowledge of UX, usability, accessibility, responsive design best practices, HTML/CSS, front-end design constraints, image optimization, and page performance. Experience with e-commerce platforms, content management systems, or page-building tools is an asset.
  • Experience maintaining and applying UI components, templates, and design system assets to ensure consistency across digital experiences.
  • Ability to optimize photography and digital assets for web, email, and product content, including experience using AI-assisted photography and image-editing tools (ex Nano Banana) for retouching, resizing, background extension, and other production workflows while maintaining brand standards.
  • Experience using performance insights, testing results, and customer feedback to improve digital creative and user experiences, while supporting website QA across desktop and mobile devices before and after launches.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, solve design and UX challenges creatively, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and deliver high-quality work with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using Windows and Mac operating systems and learning new digital tools.
