QA Tester, MUNIvers

Job Context 

Agilyx is a change-ready technology services company. Our dedicated team is passionate about empowering organisations with business-leading technology solutions. MUNIvers is one of Agilyx's core products, and it depends on rigorous, well-documented testing to keep pace with an active development pipeline. Working in our delivery space, you'll help ensure MUNIvers releases are stable, thoroughly tested and ready for our clients. You'll work closely with developers, the Product Owner and leadership to translate business requirements into clear test coverage, and you'll share your experience and knowledge across the organisation to help the team demonstrate Agilyx's values. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery 

• Design, write and maintain clear, detailed test cases and test scenarios derived from business requirements

• Execute end-to-end and regression testing for MUNIvers releases within an Agile delivery environment

• Identify, log, prioritise and track defects through to resolution using DevOps

• Validate data accuracy through basic SQL queries where required

• Support test automation initiatives using AcceLQ or equivalent tools 

• Understand and use the company's Implementation Methodology

• Consider customer, business and delivery impacts when assessing defects, risks and release readiness 

• Provide clear, timely status updates on test progress, coverage and outstanding defects 

Knowledge 

• Develop and maintain a working understanding of the MUNIvers product, including billing/finance modules and account/contact relationships

• Build understanding of batch processing and other domain-specific complexity within MUNIvers 

• Complete training activities and proactively look for opportunities to build Salesforce and MUNIvers product knowledge

Product Quality Management 

• Identify and escalate quality risks and issues in a timely manner to the Product Owner or QA Lead 

• Maintain strong defect tracking and reporting discipline, keeping stakeholders informed of status and impacts

• Assist in the analysis and documentation of test coverage, business processes and product functionality, when required 

• Provide input into test planning and estimates for upcoming releases and sprints

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum of 1 year of Salesforce QA testing experience, with 2-3 years overall experience in a testing role. 

• Experience with end-to-end and regression testing in an Agile environment. 

• Strong defect tracking and reporting skills, ideally using DevOps. 

• Ability to write clear, detailed test cases and scenarios from business requirements. 

 

Location 

This is a remote-first role. The successful candidate will be required to work Sydney, Australia business hours to align with the MUNIvers product and delivery team.
