ROLE OVERVIEW

We're looking for an experienced IT Engineer to join our internal IT team on a temporary basis for approximately 9-10 months.. You'll step into an established, well-documented role and keep day-to-day IT operations running smoothly: employee support, hardware deployment and troubleshooting, system and user administration, and coordination with our external helpdesk MSP. This role is in-person and based out of our office in Leon, Spain.

This is an independent, hands-on role with tasks across the IT spectrum for our employees in Europe. You'll work closely with our US-based global IT team during afternoon and evening hours.

This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running in a modern SaaS environment, communicates well, and knows when to solve something themselves versus when to route it to the right team.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Provide day-to-day IT support to employees, resolving helpdesk tickets across hardware, software, and access issues.
  • Manage hardware deployment, troubleshooting, and lifecycle for company-issued devices, including MDM administration.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including accounts, access, and equipment.
  • Triage incoming support cases and route them to our external helpdesk MSP when appropriate, tracking escalations through to resolution.
  • Perform system and user administration across our core SaaS stack: Google Workspace, Office 365, Slack, Zoom, Teams, Notion, and related tools.
  • Administer IAM workflows, including account provisioning/deprovisioning, access requests, and access reviews.
  • Support AI tool administration and help enable AI adoption across the company.
  • Collaborate with the internal IT team to keep ongoing projects and initiatives moving forward during the coverage period.REQUIREMENTS
  • 3+ years of experience in IT operations, helpdesk, or systems administration roles at technology companies.
  • Strong administrative knowledge of modern SaaS workplace tools: Google Workspace, Office 365, Slack, Zoom, Teams, Notion, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with endpoint management / MDM tools and hardware deployment.
  • Experience with IAM administration, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews.
  • Working knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors or MSPs is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and workflows is a plus.
  • Able to ramp up quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Fluent in English, ideally with experience working with US-based teams.
  • Based in León. On site.

BENEFITS

  • 6-month fixed-term employment contract
  • Competitive annual salary.
  • Private health insurance and a flexible benefits plan, allowing you to tailor part of your compensation package to your personal needs.
  • Flexible working hours.

At Technosylva, we value diverse experiences and skills, and we understand that every career path is unique. We encourage anyone who believes they meet most of the requirements and is interested in growing and contributing in this role to apply.
