Job Description
Reporting to Delivery Director, the SAP Project Manager is a member of our SAP project delivery and transformation team. You will play a key role in the planning, coordination and delivery of SAP projects for our clients, working closely with functional, technical and business stakeholders.
At Talan, you will contribute to the operational excellence of a variety of SAP initiatives by leveraging your project management experience, team coordination capabilities and client-focused mindset.
You will own schedule management, risk tracking and project governance activities to help ensure successful project outcomes and long-term value creation for our clients.
Your mission consists of:
- Operational Excellence• Plan, coordinate and monitor SAP project activities while respecting timelines, budgets and project objectives.
- Track risks, issues and dependencies and contribute to mitigation planning efforts.
- Customer Orientation• Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Participate in the preparation and facilitation of workshops, status meetings and project governance sessions.
- Collaboration and Team Spirit• Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams to coordinate priorities and deliverables.
- Foster a collaborative working environment that supports shared success.
- Leadership, Vision & Initiative• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and delivery processes.
- Support change management activities and SAP solution adoption among stakeholders and end users.

Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in IT project management, including relevant experience in SAP-related projects.
- SAP Achievements: Experience contributing to end-to-end SAP project delivery in a project coordination or project management capacity.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies; PMP, CAPM or equivalent certification is considered an asset.
- Industry Exposure: Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical or consumer goods industries is considered an advantage.
- Education: University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
- Conditions: Canada-based role; occasional travel across North America, typically under 15% of working time.
- Communication: Good oral and written communication skills, in French and English, to communicate with clients located across North America.
