Full description

We are looking for a Data Analyst with 2–3 years of experience for a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate should have a strong Data Analyst background with the ability to work with Excel, SQL, web-scraped data, and databases, while also being comfortable supporting basic cloud database, software, and data-related troubleshooting activities. Since the application relies heavily on accurate data, the candidate should be able to identify data-related issues and assist users when they face difficulties while using the tool

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract data from various websites using web scraping tools.
  • Clean, organize, validate, and analyze collected datasets.
  • Write database queries to pull, manage, and analyze information.
  • Present data findings clearly to the team.
  • Work with cloud-based databases and support data retrieval and validation activities.
  • Understand how the software/application works and how data impacts different features and outputs.
  • Assist with basic technical and software troubleshooting when users face issues while using the tool.
  • Investigate incorrect, missing, or inconsistent data that may result in incorrect information being displayed in the application.
  • Support users in identifying and resolving data-related issues and coordinate with the technical team when further assistance is required.

Required Skills

Excel:

Advanced-level skills, including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, data cleaning, filtering, lookups, and working with large datasets.

Web Scraping:

Proven experience extracting data from websites using web scraping tools or relevant technologies.

SQL:

Solid ability to write queries and manage, retrieve, filter, and analyze database data.

Cloud Database:

Basic to good understanding of cloud-based databases and experience working with cloud data environments is preferred.

Technical & Software Support:

Ability to understand how a software/application works and provide basic troubleshooting support when users face issues. The candidate should be able to investigate whether incorrect, missing, or inconsistent data is contributing to an application issue.

English Communication:

Strong verbal and written English skills to collaborate effectively with the client and assist users when required.
