Overview

Finance Analyst

Humdinger, Sherburn-in-Elmet, LS25

Are you an analytical finance professional who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful business insights?

We're looking for a Finance Analyst (Procurement) to join our Supply Chain Finance team. In this role, you'll partner with Procurement, Commercial, Operations and Supply Chain teams to provide financial analysis, reporting and forecasting that supports business performance and cost optimisation.

Position type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: 37.5

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 (start & finish times may be negotiable)

Salary: up to £40,000 - £45,000

Closing date: 18/09/2026

Responsibilities

  • Produce purchase price variance reporting and analysis.
  • Track, analyse and report supplier rebates.
  • Manage buying and accounts payable variances.
  • Support overhead cost management and budget reviews.
  • Assist with monthly management accounts and period-end close activities.
  • Contribute to forecasting, budgeting and reforecast processes.
  • Support balance sheet reconciliations and audit requirements.
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to improve financial understanding and decision making.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office capability.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Experience producing financial analysis, reporting and forecasts.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment ideally food.
  • ACCA/CIMA Qualifications desirable.
