About the Job:

As an IT System Analyst at Independent Bank, you will report to the IT Operations Manager and are responsible for a variety of enterprise support duties. This role requires a broad range of advanced IT system administration knowledge and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment with technical staff and departments across the bank. You will work closely with internal clients (end users) to analyze IT operations, evaluate and document processes, and design input and output requirements and formats that support efficient, secure, and reliable technology solutions.

What You Will Do:

  • Participates in a Team environment handling user-submitted trouble tickets or serving as a Tier 2 level support for advanced level tickets from Answer One.
  • Supports Enterprise Security as a first responder which includes Virus protection, patch management tools, Security solutions such as Firewalls, URL filtering systems, Operations, and Configuration manager.
  • Responsible for design, documentation, and testing of VDI Solutions for the Enterprise for Desktop delivery; Supports SQL Databases, Application Servers, and WAN infrastructure; Microsoft Exchange/Office 365, and Backup Systems.
  • Performs after-hours on-call remote support for the enterprise.
  • Defines system requirements and works with end-user departments to analyze and document workflows and information needs.
  • Participates in the designing of computer systems, and evaluates and participates in the selection of technology to meet project requirements.
  • Provide onsite support to various locations throughout the enterprise.
  • Provide detailed feedback and observations to the VP of IT Operations.
  • Supports and provides documentation for all Enterprise devices attached to the network.
  • Supports and provides analysis in the IT change management process for all assigned activities.
  • Uses precise communication skills for documenting procedures and change control activities.
  • Is responsible for monthly Management Controls created for Regulatory/Compliance requirements.
  • Provides training and knowledge exchange to other IT Team members as directed by the IT Operations Manager.
  • Supports the design, development, and documentation for Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory & Domain Controller for the IB Enterprise environment.
  • Installs, configures, tests, and Supports the Enterprise for Server Operating Systems and Server based Applications.
  • Publishes applications within an Application Virtualization environment.
  • Provides detailed specifications of new systems or upgrades for IT management information needs.
  • Supports all IB Enterprise Storage environments both physical and virtual.
  • Monitors Infrastructure health including WAN/LAN networks, Enterprise Servers, Back-up Systems, and SAN.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or another related technical field.
  • Microsoft or VMware certification is recommended.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Server products, Exchange/Office 365, IIS, System Center and other Monitoring Systems, and SQL.
  • 2+ years' experience supporting virtual environments including application installation and support, and client support.
  • Experience administering Enterprise Operating Systems and Servers.
  • Experience with Cisco LAN and WAN implementations.
  • Small and Large scale enterprise systems deployment project experience.
  • Experience with NAS and SAN storage solutions, and Dell Servers.
  • Linux/Unix experience a plus.
