Full description
Noom is on a mission to help people live better, longer. We’re a consumer-led digital health company, connecting people to content, coaching, community, and clinicians to build lasting habits and live healthier lives. We’re a high-growth organization powered by science, technology, and world-class talent. When you join Noom, on any team, you’ll see the impact of your work on the world.
Our Product Team
Noom’s Product team builds experiences that help people turn health insights into lasting habits. We bring together behavioral science, technology, and a deep understanding of our members to make healthier living more personalized, engaging, and accessible.
Our team connects health data, platform capabilities, and intuitive app experiences to help members better understand their health and take meaningful action.
About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape how personal health data becomes useful, engaging experiences across Noom. Reporting to a VP of Product, you’ll lead a cross-functional team responsible for both the underlying capabilities and the member-facing experiences that make this possible.
You’ll take ownership of an emerging product area, building on its initial foundations to develop new app experiences, personalized insights, and activities that support healthier habits. This role requires a well-rounded product leader who can think through backend systems and data flows while partnering closely with Design to create thoughtful, intuitive experiences.
Working alongside other product teams, you’ll help connect capabilities across Noom so members benefit from a more cohesive, personalized experience.
You Will
- Own your team’s product strategy, roadmap, and execution, balancing foundational platform investments with member-facing improvements
- Turn personal health data into clear, actionable app experiences that help members understand their progress and build healthier habits
- Partner closely with Design to develop new screens, surfaces, and activities that make complex information useful and engaging
- Work with Engineering to define scalable capabilities for data access, personalized insights, and timely, contextually relevant engagement
- Collaborate with teams building AI coaching and other personalized experiences to make health data useful across the broader Noom app
- Align priorities, dependencies, and ownership with adjacent product teams working toward a shared member experience
- Translate member research, product data, and business priorities into clear requirements and focused development plans
- Define success metrics and use experimentation, member feedback, and analysis to improve adoption, engagement, and retention
- Apply thoughtful judgment to privacy, transparency, and member trust when developing experiences involving personal health data
About You
You’re equally comfortable discussing how data moves through a system and working with a designer to make that data meaningful to a member. You can connect technical investments to a compelling product experience, make clear tradeoffs, and keep a team focused as an emerging product area evolves.
You bring strong consumer instincts, curiosity about health technology, and a collaborative approach. You’re excited to build on an early product foundation and help shape what comes next.
You Have
- 6+ years of product management experience, with a track record of delivering consumer-facing products and measurable results
- Experience building wearable products, strongly preferred, or other health-focused hardware products with companion digital experiences
- An understanding of the distinct user expectations, privacy considerations, and trust required when connecting health devices and software
- Strong UX judgment and experience partnering closely with designers to build intuitive mobile experiences
- Comfort taking ownership in an evolving product area and adapting plans as you learn
- Experience with AI-generated insights, personalized recommendations, or AI coaching; at minimum, the ability to reason through the systems needed to support these experiences
- Strong systems thinking, with the ability to reason through data pipelines, integrations, backend services, and dependencies alongside engineering partners
- Experience balancing platform development with user-facing product work and explaining how each contributes to member and business outcomes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including experience aligning multiple teams around shared priorities
- Strong analytical skills and experience using research, experimentation, and product metrics to guide decisions
- A passion for helping people improve their health through thoughtful, accessible technology
What Makes This Job Amazing
- Shape an emerging product area. Build on an early foundation with substantial room to influence the roadmap and member experience.
- Connect technology to everyday behavior. Help members turn personal health information into practical actions and lasting habits.
- Own work across the product stack. Combine platform thinking, experience design, and personalization in one role.
- Build with strong partners. Work closely with experienced design, engineering, and product teammates.
- Make a meaningful impact. Create experiences that strengthen the programs members already rely on to improve their health.
What You’ll Earn and Enjoy
- Pay that reflects your impact. Compensation benchmarked to the market and shaped by your impact and value.
- Investment in your future. A 401(k) with company match to help you build long-term financial security.
- Time to truly recharge. Paid holidays, flexible and generous PTO, Summer Fridays, and a company-wide Summer Break week so the whole team can unplug together.
- Care that covers it all. Access to top-tier medical plans for you and your family, including a premium-free plan option, alongside dental, vision, and life insurance.
- Support for growing families. Paid parental leave to give you the time and flexibility to focus on what matters most.
- And more to help you thrive. Stock awards, a performance-based bonus, and exclusive access to Noom’s products, so you can grow with us, win with us, and enjoy what we build.
The base salary range for this position is $164,000-$215,000. Actual compensation is determined by job-related factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
