Data & Information Analyst – Remote
A Remote Data & Information Analyst supports business operations by collecting, reviewing, organizing, validating, and analyzing information from multiple sources. This role helps transform raw data into accurate, useful information that supports reporting, operational planning, performance monitoring, and business decision-making.

Position Overview
The Data & Information Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of business information while assisting with data analysis, reporting, documentation, and information-management activities.
The position involves working with databases, spreadsheets, reports, digital records, and other information sources to identify trends, verify accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and provide organized information to appropriate teams.
Successful candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, organization, communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Management
- Collect, enter, update, organize, and maintain information across approved databases, spreadsheets, and business systems.
- Gather information from multiple internal sources and consolidate it into structured datasets or reports.
- Review data for completeness, consistency, accuracy, and relevance.
- Maintain organized electronic records and ensure information can be efficiently retrieved when required.
- Follow established data-management, retention, confidentiality, and information-security procedures.
Data Analysis & Validation
- Review datasets to identify trends, patterns, inconsistencies, missing information, and potential errors.
- Perform routine data validation and quality checks to maintain reliable business information.
- Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with appropriate team members to obtain clarification or corrections.
- Compare information from multiple sources to verify accuracy and consistency.
- Assist with basic quantitative and qualitative analysis to support operational and business needs.
Reporting & Business Information
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports using available business information.
- Generate summaries, spreadsheets, charts, dashboards, and other reporting materials as required.
- Organize analytical findings into clear and understandable formats for internal stakeholders.
- Track key data points, operational metrics, and performance indicators.
- Assist management and business teams with information requests and reporting needs.
- Translate data findings into clear observations that can support informed decision-making.
Data Quality & Information Integrity
- Identify duplicate, incomplete, outdated, or inconsistent information and take appropriate steps to correct or escalate issues.
- Maintain established standards for data accuracy, formatting, classification, and documentation.
- Assist with data-cleaning and standardization activities.
- Document data sources, definitions, reporting procedures, and analytical processes when required.
- Handle confidential, proprietary, employee, customer, and business information responsibly.
Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Identify opportunities to improve data collection, reporting, documentation, and information-management processes.
- Collaborate with administrative, operations, finance, customer service, technology, and other teams to address information needs.
- Assist with implementing updated reporting procedures and data-management practices.
- Participate in projects involving data organization, information quality, reporting, or process improvement.
- Maintain knowledge of company systems, procedures, analytical tools, and information-management standards.

Technical Proficiency
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, or similar productivity applications.

- Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, CRM systems, data visualization tools, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies is advantageous but not required for all candidates.
- Ability to learn new software and company-specific information systems through provided training.

Education & Experience

- Previous experience in data analysis, data entry, reporting, records management, administration, business operations, research, finance, or information management is beneficial.
